About Dr. Salvatoriello (Dr. Sal)
Dr. Fred Salvatoriello has been a Specialist in Orthodontics and Dento-Facial Orthopedics since 1975. He graduated as a Dean's List student from Rutgers University and attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he was elected to the National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Sal received his specialty certification from Tufts University Graduate School of Orthodontics.
Dr. Sal is a pioneer in his field and has developed two appliances (BROPA® and the MANDIBULAR ADVANCER®) and approaches to interceptive orthodontic and dento-facial treatment in youngsters so treatment can often be provided without the use of fixed orthodontic appliances, i.e. braces.
Dr. Sal has coached and assisted in virtually every community athletic program around, is a former Cub Master of Cub Scout Pack 45 in Hanover, and was a coach at the Dartmouth Summer Basketball Camp.
Dr. Sal and his wife, Mary Ann, live in Hanover. They have 11 children and five grandchildren. While he enjoys racquetball and swimming, sharing time with his children and watching his grandchildren grow up are his favorite activities.
